When I was a kid in the freewheeling Seventies, most of my friends used the common flammable herbal analgesic of the era to abate seasickness. It either worked well, or they just forgot to care.

Alas in this decade those days are gone. I took my daughter to a rock concert a while back, and some kid got immediately ejected for attempting to administer the same substance. I don't think that he was trying to avoid seasickness.

Me I immediately claim a bunk and sleep on the trip over. I imagine it a cradle from the beginning of life.

Most Captains might not appreciate 70's cures on board...
