More than 60 miles from the mainland, San Nicolas Island is one of the smallest and least dove of all the Channel Islands. The weather this weekend looks promising to give divers a chance to explore the underwater world surrounding the setting for Scott O’Dell’s award winning novel, “The Island of the Blue Dolphins”.
A hunter’s paradise, and commonly referred to as the “Land of the Giants”, San Nicolas is legendary for producing HUGE LOBSTER.
Depart King Harbor at 12:00am (Fri midnight); return by 4:00pm (Sun)
