I've observed in my frequent diving trips to the UK, that their "blokes" are only certified after much higher, more demanding, and more rigorous training than ours through the BSAC (British Sub-Aqua Clubs). But nobody can teach maturity and although there are 12 year old non-recurring "wunder kinder" divers, even on our side of the pond, 12 is too damn young to be a "master diver". Unless they meant Master James Douglas, boy diver.
