Diving a small tank to keep from getting bent is
dumb. Stuff happens, and having extra gas on your
back is good. Maybe the stuff is heavy current,
maybe it's just a really long hang at 30 enjoying
jellyfish on parade, maybe it's freeing a stuck
anchor. Maybe the stuff is something worse.
Stuff happens. Gas is good. And there's a term
for those who use their gas supply to constain
the length of their dive: OOA.

And don't point to me as proof of your silly
concept. I do dive a mix close to your
recommedations, but I don't dive your profiles, I
don't do your one hour surface interval, I don't
dive all day long, and I don't do your no safety
stop ascents.
