I was really disturbed by show... As a diver and a Reefer (funny word we use to discribe some who has a reef tank) I hate to see these things killed...
The clam the ate was a 14" T. Maxima!! That clam was not farm rased! It was most likely around 60-80 years old!!! The clam farms are doing a great thing in supplying clams for food, aquariums, and reintroduced clams to the wild.... why did they have to go and eat a wild one? BTW I have the link, but some research on a 4 1/2' giant clam has put its age in between 500-800 years old!!!!!
