The BBS has a policy about advertising. The once weekly posts provide a means of distributing information re: openings on dive trips.
The information should be sent to openings@diver.net to be included in the weekly post, not posted directly on the board. The BBS rules preculde numerous posts about the same trip or group. Any trip with openings can be posted in the weekly post.
The primary purpose of the BBS is discussion, not advertising.
