Yawn! Tis a fine rant, but of little substance. If you can't say it in one structuraly complete pharagraph, then don't.
If it is not safe to be boating that day it is the captain s decision to go or not to go. SCA s are just one small part of the data pool a captain uses to make that call.
I think the first hint was that other boats stayed in that day. If someone would have been hurt and the litigation line of questioning followed what Ken outlined, there would been little defense for the experience captain that made the wrong call. I think that goes for all boats, not just yours.
Thank goodness no one was hurt that day on any boat.
