I heard you could go diving in Mission Bay to see sea horses, so maybe you could in San Diego Bay? Well.... if they didn't get rid of the mangroves, they could of filtered the water so it would have better diving conditions if it were muddy. I will be planting some Avicennia marina var. resinifera in my yard in California, its alright there since we live on an inlet that is not protected and it enhances the environment. Its not like spartinia where it invades the whole bay overnight.
