Now that you mention it, I've seen "group sex" among seahares and there are usually egg masses nearby. I've not noted whether they were also laying eggs. Spanish Shawl nudis can have sex and lay eggs at the same time - I have a photo - so I don't see why the seahares can't also. Something to watch for.
