Wow, Ross - without a doubt that's the most exciting So.Cal. dive report I've read. Talk about high adventure! And I think it's cool how firm you were about sticking to the dive plan; keep doing that and you'll catch up with AADIVER's 3,800+ dives.
The photos are great also, despite the the strobe limitation. I'm curious about what's lying behind the gorgonian in the photo with the shark egg - it looks like a big eye that belongs to some kind of interesting creature...do you remember what it was?
