Thanks, Chuck for your comments & advice. It's nice to hear from someone who's been at it as long as you have. I remember seeing one of your photos (of some sort of itty-bitty, kelp-dwelling fish) in a fish I.D. book that has been out for quite a while.

You suggested that two strobes would be better than one. Aside from just having more light (yielding a greater coverage zone), what other advantages do two strobes offer? Do UW photographers often switch from one single strobe to another in order to get the best illumination angle for a particular scene?
