The spool or reel fantasy is an often quoted DIR alternative to a jon line.

The nice thing about the DIR solutions is that they save you a lot of time from having to think.

The bad thing is that many of the DIR solutions are flawed.

Thats ok though, because as more DIR divers end up in the recompression chambers, they eventually learn a lot.
