If anyone even suspects DCI, get professional medical help as soon as possible. Treatment in a recompression chamber is the ONLY treatment for the bends.
And anyone promoting "self-treatment with rest and sleep and rehydration" needs psychiatric help as soon as possible !
This is the most basic information taught in ever beginner course, and again in ever other level of scuba classes.
Looks like btter weather is coming, sure hope to get out soon.
