I'm thinking of getting into kayak diving and wanted to get some advice on the type of 'yak to buy. I'm already thinking of buying Mark Theobald's book but I'm also interested in first-hand recommendations.
Primarily, I'm looking for a stable dive platform that can handle me (6'2" 230#), my gear and up to 2 tanks. I am looking at the Ocean Kayak Drifter and the Cobra Fish n Dive.
Any thoughts on these or other models would be greatly appreciated!
Are there any 'yak diving groups locally?
