I'd suspect a joy rider. Maybe drunk (or whatever),
maybe a disgruntled ex-employee. I was on the
fringes of something similar in Hawaii 20 years ago,
and it was a guy who was REALLY drunk, stole an
anchored catamaran, and sank another boat trying to
get out to sea.
