Lots of good advice. Thanks to all.

Our trip to Cozumel is penciled in for 2006. By that time we'll probably be approaching 150 dives. This year we're headed back to Maui, for a trip in which we'll be pool slugs about half the time, and divers about half the time. This is where we got the diving bug, just last September. Almost on a whim, we did a resort/intro dive off the beach in front of our hotel. Then 3 more "intros" in the few remaining days of our vacation. In retrospect we should have been upset that they were giving us 67cu.ft. tanks - it's now obvious they wanted the dives to be as short as possible. We signed up for an Open Water course here in So.Cal. literally the day after we returned from Hawaii. We'll pass 50 dives this coming weekend, and should have close to 70 dives under our belts by the time we return to Maui in mid-May. My how time flies when you're having so much fun!
