Now that I see a larger image of the nudibranch it looks like it was a Navanax on the tree trunk. I couldn't see it very well in the camera display on the boat.
Great account of the trip. I think that I'll just sign up for all of the trips that you go on and you can do all of the writing work in the future. So much for your work ethic theory.
