Ross, something that I'm starting to add to my basic classes are S drills. This solves alot of problems with OOA (it gets the diver thinking about an OOA, at the beginning of the dive and of course gives them some practice).
A new product I'm looking at is H2O's new spare air unit. It has a real second stage on a swiwel, it is mounted on a standard 6 cu.ft. tank (it will work on any 3/4 in. tank). It would be easy to bungie to a plate (like most do for dry suit inflation). It looks very cool.
But, nothing will replace good gas management.
