I would tend to agree with you Walt. The noise
from a pool conducting a SCUBA class would be
miniscule compared to a neighbor who's kids had friends over using their own pool for a weekend of
hot weather relief. I've watched alot of class
sessions, I can't remember the experience being
loud aurally.
SCUBA training pools like the ones Sport Chalet
uses at some of their locations are in no way
anything like a neighborhood public pool with a
hundred kids in it 6 days a week from 10a to 5p.
I think that's the mental picture some of the
neighborhood sees when they think pool. Some of
the Sport Chalet pools are completely indoors. The
others are view screened for the most part from
whatever neighborhood members that would look over
their fence and across the parking lot to the
pool. The neighbor's pool will probably be closer
anyway.
