Walt - I know how you feel. We had set aside this weekend for beach diving. But the surf conditions on the mainland look way scary. We've had this situation before: planned a beach dive, but conditions don't allow. In such cases we often opt for Plan B in - take the Cat express to Avalon. The protected waters on the leeside can offer excellent conditions while the mainland is getting pounded. In fact, we're doing a Plan B trip tomorrow - maybe we'll see you there!
