I can tell you the quarter was made after 1964, and most likley after 1970 as well. I used to be a numismatist. lol. I don't think this is contributing. In Bodega Bay I have found shells on the beach that were the same shape though, only smaller. One thing that isn't so intersting about Southern Califorina is the shells, all thats there that are interesting are cowry's, Abalones, and clams, and most of those are rare and you can't find any.
