I have an Oceanic GT reg and it doesn't breathe well in the supine position. It is a starter reg and I am replacing it soon. I wouldn't recommend it. But...that being said...I don't spend that much time on my back underwater (no sly remarks please. :) so it hasn't been that much of an issue for me.
I think I'll go with a Mares. I've used them and have always thought they were great.
