Since you are using an Aluminum tank you coud try adding some wieght on the strap on the other side of the big tank from the pony.
I personally do like the bouancy from Aluminum tanks, and when I use one on vacation I usually addy 3-5 lbs of lead to the tank on one or both of the tank straps.
