As far as AAdivers pony idea. I think you would be safer w/o it. The potential for increased drag and the likelyhood of entanglement in kelp during an true ooa situation is elevated. While the likelyhood of you facilitating these expensive components in the first few seconds of a true ooa situation unlikely.

I believe we are better off being sleek and heading towards the surface. That is unless you are a deep diver, were the depths are to great to escape from on a single breath.

Unfortunatly we type A's comprise the majority divers. We also like to spend lots of money on useless crap and be unique. The bottom line is that neither will asure us of compatence.
