You'd improve your air consumption by cutting that drag. If you want redundency re-think the use of an H valve - your only point of failure would be running out of air by not paying attention to both your SPG and time UW. The H valve adddresses main points of mechanical failure. If you are an air hog, consider a larger tank AFTER you've done everything to improve streamlining (cutting drag, improving swim position, yoga) and aerobic conditioning. I'll let you use my steel 120, as I have little use for it these days - my HP 80 offers more than enough air. Now that whould be more like DIR (without the trademark).
