I have never worked on an Ikelite housing. However on most housings the button is held in place be a retaining ring that needs to be removed. Once the retaining ring is removed, the spring and washers should be removed with their order noted. Take care not to loose any parts. Then the button should come off.
All metal parts should be cleaned in vinegar and then rinsed in fresh water. O-rings should be replaced with ones of the correct size, material, and durometer rating. Non-metal parts that are to be reused should be cleaned with soap and water, or alcohol, and then rinsed. o-ring lubricant should be used (but sparingly) for reassembly.
