Your story would bring tears to my eyes if I weren't in such desiccated shape myself. Work, work, work - not 24/7, but close enough to screw up any chance of getting wet. I've been living (diving) vicariously though the board since my last dive at the end of bug season. Chris, yours and Dick’s bluewater vignettes kept me going.
But the weekend beckons - weather looks okay. Gear is waiting.
The boat is fueled, the Pacific awaits.
My gills are dry, but hopefully that will be remedied in the very near future.
