I use NOAA and the Navy sites exclusively, as they are far more accurate and complete for marine weather. Besides, WHERE do the commercial services get their base data from anyway?!?!

Accuweather is obnoxious with all its pop-up ads...its like the TV "meteorologists"...mainly for amusement and entertainment.

I would not have a problem paying a use fee for NOAA web services. Acuweather will get along just fine without we seafarers.

BTW, the following link is a really cool service of NOAA I tripped across a month or so ago - it allows you to see temp, cloud cover, water temp, surf, etc. from a single map point - check it out.
