One of my buddies is taking a rescue class and wanted some extra practice. She met up with one of my instructor buddies for some work at Vets yesterday eve. I joined them at about 5:30 as they were finishing up. We did a quick dive in the canyon. Max depth was about 80'. Temp was a chilly 54F. Vis was about 10'. It's amazing how many squid eggs are still down there. There were large areas of bottom with about 25% coverage. The neatest thing on the dive was a baby horn shark and a really aggressive crab that was hiding in the squid eggs.
