that ALL dive boats should check for current Hydro and Vip. I have been on many and never seen them check once. I asked a Captain once ( won't say his name ) why and he said how would you like to not dive after you get all the way out to San Nick because your tank was 2 weeks out of hydro or vip. Just think if a tank blew on a boat out in the middle of no where, these guys don't even have fill tanks. They just fill on the tank racks right next to the customers standing around. Someday someones going to get hurt.
