I didn't like my custom suit - not flexible enough. I just got a Henderson hyperstretch. It stretches like it was lycra. So in places that need less stretch it's still snug but not confining. In places that need more stretch it is very forgiving. The material does get little tiny pills like on some sweaters or sweats that snag easily. But it doesn't affect the warmth. Mine is a 7 mil and it is actually more comfortable that the 3 mil body glove shorty I use for warm water.
