Nineteen students in attendance and conducted by the "masters of the surf" Brad, Jesse, Dave G. and Kevin. Would have been nice to have had the typical surf at Leo, but for the first water play of the year, the ankle slappers were sort of welcome as it made it an easy day. The kelp beds are really thick now and during some freedives we saw an abundance of greenlings and garibaldi. Vis in 15' was about 8' and the deeper waters looked good. If you're thinking about a dive in SoCal, stop reading, get your gear and GO!!!!
