On Sunday, we made a run to the wreck of the Avalon, Palos Verdes Peninsula, Los Angeles, CA.

The surface water was green, but below the thermocline the visibility opened up to an acceptable 10 to 15 feet on the wreck.

We have had exceptionally cold water in Southern California this Spring and my computer read 47 degrees - love the drysuit.

There were hundreds of Spanish Shawl nudibranchs and egg masses on the bow of the Avalon.

Here are a few images from our dives:

Cabezon - so convinced that he was invisible, I was able to use a macro lens adapter!

Spanish shawl nudibranch doing his rabbit imitation.

Two Spanish shawls and an egg mass.

The skin of a starfish.
