I agree with "no plush" - look for a skin in covering that fits the skin, especially at the neck, ankles and wrists. Look for a protected zipper or perhaps a semi-dry suit. Anything to keep out the water flow.

I've been happy with a single suit style (non-Farmer John) 6.5 mm and 7 mm with Titanium lining. Has worked for multiple dives down to 48 degrees for about 45 minutes (but I'm cold tolerant).
