Odds are that you are right. What I like about this photo. Is that it advocates the use of barbless hooks at least in my eyes. Yeah the hook will detoriate and fall out after a significant amount of time. A stainless steel hook would out live the fish. A barbless hook would fall out right away. Wouldn't it be bizare to see one of Elaine's photos in a fishing magazine. Read by millions of fish eating barbarians ;-)
