Wahoo! I've been thinking about these egg-yolk jellies lately and wondering if they'd be back. Two years ago, they were prevalent in San Diego for a few weeks in March/April. I saw one in La Jolla Canyon toward the end of their run there.

They are gorgeous and you really captured this one beautifully, Elaine.

BTW, some divers call them fried egg jellies, but I agree with Chuck. Those yolks are raw!
