I saw what you did with a dive master's card, and it
sure didn't make me want to become one. You did an
unsafe dive with no dive plan, the wrong gear, and
no buddy. It had the potential to ruin a club trip
on the Cypress Sea. Jim Kessler and I got on your
case about it, and you were completely unrepentant.
About a year later I found out you had gotten bent on that dive,
and bragged about treating it with bed rest. Bed
rest and denial, I'm sure.
That's supposed to make me want to be a dive
master? No way. I'll stick with my current place
in the dive industry: conspicuous consumer. ;-)
