Don't force it , Scott. You'll need more time than that to do the trip/dives safely. Also, my last trip there (3 weeks ago), visibility was about 20+ feet down to about 50 or 55 feet, and ZERO from 50 feet to the bottom - not the best of diving to say the least. Plus, that was the day I took another step toward total enlightenment with my discovery of the problem of entanglement with FireWire fishing line. That is something I'd advise against even in good visibility.

Give yourself a break and dive the Avalon or Palawan till you have more time to spend on a Star dive and conditions improve. However, given the water I saw yesterday at Vets, I suspect that conditions all along the coast suck.
