I agree with Elaine's suggestion about being able to put the signaling device up while doing your safety stop. I am an air hog. Last year in Indonesia I was first to ascend from a pinnacle . Their was no reef at the top so at 15' I drifted off the high spot. Because we had an alert tender driver I was picked up no problem. I have since bought a sausage I can inflate from depth and hang off of. Makes it easier for the tender driver to track me If I drift off. I recommended a strobe last year for night dives you might want to consider . dawhale
