Eric you landed a great job, congrats! You get to work outdoors and on the water. And you get to make your own hours. It does not get any better than that.
I am happy in second place, with an indoor job that finances my north coast scuba habit. I have never seen so many vermillion rock fish anywhere else! And abs the size of bowling balls.
Of course, you do need to look out for the fish that are the size of busses. Just don't bolt to the surface when you get a glimpse of one, and everything should be fine with that. Rocky used his flashlight to shine at one in the eyes and that scared it away. I always have a light with me too, so maybe I would try that as well.
The shipwrecks are not bad either! Real ones, not man made. Made by nature and the hand of God. Now where did I put that treasure map again?
