Same for me on the size, 9 7/8. No 10 to shore yet. I'm still trying and I don't much care where I swim. I mostly hunt abs about 25 feet. I have found 4 - 10 inchers, but for a variety of reasons have not gotten them to shore. I did get a 9 1/2 inch white abalone off Santa Cruz island. I think I know where there is a 10 off of Mendo. It will be tough to get, but I think it is there.
