I have access to a nice inflatable (Zodiac type) with outboard. I am interested in taking it to Monterey and avoiding the shore entries and surface swims to get to depth. Does anyone have experience with where to dive? And what about security for the boat while my buddy and I are diving? Do I have to take along a non-diver to stay in the boat? If anyone has any suggestions, I would really appreciate it. It would be REALLY cool if we could group up with someone more experienced with boat-diving in the area!
