Yo: Flat this weekend at Cambria so decided to solo kayak dive to Cambria Rock. Vis. horizontally was 40-50 ft. Could see the surface at depth of 40-50 ft. Shot a big red but lost him on Sat. Saw anemones as big as frisbees, and a Spanish Shawl nudi. Today the vis. was better and I killed one 28" ling, a big red, a big cab, and some other rockfish. There are hundreds of rockfish in Cambria, probably because 6 out of 10 times it's undiveable. 5-6 aluminum boats out today and eveyone with lings using Fish Traps. Biggest ling 40 lbs. Best dive on the coast, but very, very fishy, green fishy. B.X.
