Diving deep on 21% is the equivalent of driving with elevated blood alchohol. Yeah, I've done it but by the grace of God and being of a conservative nature I didn't kill and/or injure myself or anyone else. Diving over 100 fsw on 21% is diving handicapped. In fact the impairment is so subtle from 100 to 150 it lulls one into thinking (stinkin' thinkin'), hey, I'm just fine.
One of my prized diving possessions is a Deep Air cert card issued to me in the 80's allowing me to dive EANx mixtures other than 32 or 36%. How's that for illogical nonesense. The card was signed by JW.
