Looks like some people are trying to provoke a shark feeding frenzy. I personally think political posts are cool here. As long as they INVOLVE diving, somehow, somewhere, sometime. Gun control is a sensitive subject and most anti-gun people avoid gun discussion forums. So gun lovers look elsewhere to vent their views. It is very tempting bait.
Technically I do not exist in many gun lovers eyes. I am a gun toting liberal ;-)
As time goes on diving will become more and more political. Concerns about the enviroment and ridiculous laws restricting diving. Make it impossible to avoid.
You seem to have a cool head. You must have swam among sharks before ;-)
