Actually, Dale, I like my Dive-Rite, though I can see how that back pad would stay wet. At first I didn't think the 30# lift was enough, but as I learned to drop off lead, it has become perfect. Used it Memorial Day weekend with my 120 since we were doing the Yukon and Wreck Alley and I didn't know if I'd need a deco stop (didn't). Probably my last use of the 120 as its silly to come back with more than half the tank full and that monster is hard to lug around.

Been using an HP80 and found that its all I need for my normal 40 to 50 minutes (even with the typical boat fill of 2800 - 3000 which gives me 64 - 69 ft3). Main advantage is little back strain. You might want to look into this; you're welcome to try out ours.

I'll use the DR for travel and (probably) boat dives, but am going hardpack for beach diving...maybe boat dives - that's why I'm looking at a small wing (maybe horse collar, but probably not).

See you Wednesday!
