No personal experience with Oxycheq.
I test dove some Halcyon gear about 5 years ago and it seemed rugged. In the past year I have heard some buzz about inconsistent quality.
The Oxycheq website does a good job of describing construction attributes of their 'signature' series, but the 18# er is not of that series. The 18#er is 1050 denier balistic material (fairly common among BC's). I'd want to look it over more closely to see how it would stand up to a pounding.
