I have (at least) three kinds.

I have some of the Ansmann cases (bottom of the
Thomas distributing page). I like that I can put
dead batteries in nose first and charged ones tail
first. I don't like that they are a hard plastic
and the little hinges break. I use them around the
house, but not so much on trips.

I have some 8 AA cases I got a Nob Hill Foods, of
all places, when they had some special. Nose away
from the hinge indicates charged. These go
on trips.

And I have some of the Thomas 2-cell cases which
I never use (I never need to store just two
cells). They were free with a charger.

I've got a collection of Ansmann and Maha chargers.
