I've only known two people who bragged about poaching. One told me he spears lobsters in Mexico. The day he told me that was the last time he was invited on my boat. Another guy used to brag about taking lobsters out of season and Garibaldis. I turned him in one day, but he saw the F&G truck and didn't go in the water. He was finally arrested last year for taking multitudes of Garibaldis and lobsters off Palos Verdes. I hope someone is inserting an antenna into him to reomve his vein right now.
