BANGKOK, June 9 (Xinhuanet) -- Three Thai fishermen working in Malaysia have been killed by breathing in poisonous fumes from rotting fish, the Department of Fisheries has confirmed.
Jaranthada Karnasuta, the department's Deputy Director-General, was quoted by the Thai News Agency as saying Thursday that the three Thais working in Malaysia's Perak State had died on June 6 after being hired to remove trash fish which had been rotting in adamaged refrigeration unit for 10 days.
A fourth Thai survived the incident.
The bodies of the dead Thai men are being held in Malaysia until autopsies have been performed, the agency said. Enditem
